Have you ever wanted to serve on a nonprofit board? Are you curious about the difference between the various types of boards (i.e. advisory, development, governing, etc.)? Would you like an opportunity to learn more in a casual setting with like-minded young professionals and community leaders? Then join us for “Leadership Through Nonprofit Board Service!”

This 90-minute after-work event - beginning with a behind-the-scenes tour of Charity Newsies - will be focused on putting your time and talents to work, with guest panelists from Charity Newsies, Besa, Junior League of Columbus, The Columbus Foundation, and others. Learn the ins and outs of board service!

Cost: There is no cost to attend, but space is limited. (Please only sign up if you are absolutely sure you can attend. No-shows with no advance notice are no-no’s!)

Bonus: Delicious food from Yats Cajun Creole, as well as snacks and bottled water will be provided!
