OUR EVENTS
As a regional hub for emerging leaders, the CYP Club focuses on providing accessible programming and partnerships that boost careers, community, conversations and culture for all. Throughout the year, the CYP Club calendar is full of professional & fun events for our members to make connections with one another while getting to know Columbus. We also host volunteer efforts to give back - totaling more than 5,000 volunteer hours each year - and offer a variety of recreational sports leagues each season. Some events are free while others have a fee. Attendance can range from a few dozen to a few hundred (or even a few thousand) attendees, depending upon the event.

A Taste of Columbus is our annual networking celebration featuring dozens of food & drink stations, live music & art, interactive activities, and a brief awards program recognizing “Wonderful Workplaces for Young Professionals” as we celebrate all things local. Usually hosted in March with 700+ attendees. Learn more

The Columbus Volunteer Expo is a year-end opportunity to mingle with local non-profits on the hunt for volunteers, new board members, and supporters. Usually hosted in November with 200-300 in attendance. Learn more

Columbus Volunteer Fest is a springtime community event that welcomes attendees of all ages to interact with local nonprofits, learn how to get involved, and enjoy live music, activities, food trucks, and more. Hosted in May. Learn more

The Columbus Emerging Leaders’ Summit is a platform for enthusiastic, smart, and active young professionals (and ERGs) from across Central Ohio to connect for success. Usually hosted in September with 100-120 in attendance. Learn more

The Next Up Columbus Awards feature an evening of networking and celebration with young Columbus leaders who are making a positive impact on the future of our city. Usually hosted in June with 250-300 attendees. Learn more

The Executive Luncheon is an interactive mentoring event that facilitates the exchange of success stories between young professionals and C-Suite executives. Hosted in February with attendance of 100. Learn more

WISE is a quarterly series of event experiences featuring inspirational speakers & storytellers, engaging workshops, meditation sessions, and more. Normally hosted in January, April, July, and October with 100 attendees each time. Learn more

YP Networking Night
Social networking event for members & friends that rotates to different bars, restaurants, and venues around town.

City Tours & Experiences
Small group opportunities to get to know the city from local neighborhoods to theaters, parks, and landmarks.

Coffee with a Cause
Monthly morning event where we chat with community leaders and let attendees know how to get more involved.
Attendance is usually 30-40 each month.
Scioto Arts Market
Saturday morning farmers & makers market hosted monthly along the Scioto River in downtown Columbus (May-Oct).
Attendance is 500+ each month.
Group Fitness Classes
Activity-based events geared toward health and fitness.
Attendance varies based on the event experience.
CYPeer Groups
Small groups meant to foster an atmosphere of peer-to-peer knowledge-sharing, commonality, interests, and more.
Attendance & frequency varies based on each group.
The Grandview Hop
Open street night market series hosted monthly by the CYP Club from June-September along Grandview Avenue
Attendance is 5,000+ each month.
Volunteerism
Small group volunteer projects that offer team-building opportunities while giving back to the community.
