Coffee with a Cause: Black History, Culture & Representation in Columbus

Join the CYP Club - along with series sponsors Ryan Deeter of Key Realty and COhatch - on Wednesday, February 1st from 7:30-9am for Coffee with a Cause! It’s a monthly educational event series where we talk with community leaders and let you know how to get more involved through a moderated panel discussion.

Each event will offer attendees the opportunity to network and hear from a variety of community leaders on ways that you can get involved with Columbus charities. In February, our topic of conversation will be “Black History, Culture & Representation in Columbus” and our moderator is Gabrielle Solange.

Our panelists include:

DJ Leek, DJ for the Columbus Crew, In-Arena Host for OSU Basketball, MC for the Columbus Clippers
Niyah Walters, Legal Analyst at City of Columbus and past-president of the Columbus Urban League YPs
Rita Fuller-Yates, Author, Historian, and owner of Columbus Black History Tours
Sarah Richardt, Historian, Author, Civic Leader, and Executive Director of the Kelton House Museum & Garden

Where: This event will be hosted at COhatch The Gateway, with free admission and complimentary coffee for all!

Cost: It’s free to attend and all are welcome to join us! Coffee and morning connections are included with each event.

Parking: There will be metered street parking available (make sure to download the ParkColumbus app) or you can pay to park in the Gateway garage.
