Workplace mentoring is becoming increasingly important for organizations to remain competitive and retain their top talent. Leading companies recognize the value of pairing senior leaders with more up-and-coming employees who have the potential to be great leaders. In fact, 84% of Fortune 500 companies run internal mentoring programs to develop their best and brightest.
That’s why the CYP Club is pleased to introduce SPEED MENTORING, a special networking event as part of our “Career Paths to Community Leadership” quarterly series for emerging leaders! The purpose of Speed Mentoring is to help our members (Mentees) connect with community leaders (Mentors) and gain insights related to career planning. It will run like an adult version of music chairs, with attendees switching tables in small groups every 15 minutes to connect with up to four different mentors in attendance. This should make it more interactive and fun!
Join us on Thursday, November 3 from 6-8pm for Speed Mentoring at the Dublin campus of Ohio University (6805 Bobcat Way, Dublin, OH 43016). Attire is business or business casual.
Ticket cost: It's $10 per person (or free for Premium members) to attend. We’ll have snacks and refreshments available, along with plenty of networking opportunities!
Attendance for this event will be capped at 80 to allow for maximum interaction between our mentors and members.
