Working Moms of Columbus
Each month on the third Wednesday we will meet for an early evening social gathering at Chocolate Cafe in the Grandview Heights/Upper Arlington area. Since no one knows better than Working Moms how hectic life can get, we will also hold a bonus kid-friendly meetup once a month, generally on Fridays. We hope you can attend both events each month, but we’ve also structured this with flexibility in mind for your busy lives - so join us however you can!
Our main hope is that you find your tribe as you get to know this smaller peer group of moms.

FAQs About CYPeer Groups
-
Our newest initiative, CYPeer Groups, are smaller, targeted networks within central Ohio that provide a space for CYP Club members to connect over commonality, locality, and industry, as well as hobbies, passions, and interests. By creating a supportive atmosphere, these groups are designed to foster peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and provide opportunities for collaborative growth in a way that larger gatherings cannot.
The targeted nature of CYPeer Groups also allows us to support the professional and social development of our members by offering tailored resources, insights, and networking opportunities, all while reducing the often overwhelming factor of larger events.
-
For members, the value of CYPeer Groups lies in building more consistent, authentic connections with peers who understand their professional challenges, personal goals, and community needs. Many young professionals seek support in specific areas—whether that’s advancing in their careers or connecting over shared passions like art, entrepreneurship, or philanthropy. CYPeer Groups address this by allowing members to “find their people” within the CYP Club. Smaller, interest-focused gatherings provide members with a welcoming space where they can freely exchange ideas, seek guidance, and build the skills needed to navigate both their professional and personal lives with confidence.
-
Once a month, there will also be a Community Coworking Day where members of all CYPeer Groups are invited to join us for free coffee/tea/snacks and an opportunity to connect with fellow members of Peer Groups from across the city. Of course you can connect with many other CYP Club members at our various events, too!
-
Yes, you are welcome to be a part of as many peer groups as you like, but we caution you to make sure you have the time to commit to each group you’re interested in joining. Each group may have a different time commitment, price point, or frequency.
-
Thanks for asking! As the prospective leader of a CYPeer Group, you set the tone for the member experience. Each month, you can expect to devote 2-4 hours to this role as leader/facilitator for your peer group.
Your responsibilities would include assisting in event planning, attending all of your peer group meetings, and participating in Community Coworking Days. Additionally, you will have access to a “Space” on the CYP Club’s online community to further engage and chat with your group members, and promote your events/meetings.
