Marketing Data Analyst - Third Street Digital

The purpose of this position is to support our team of Integrated Marketing Managers with thoughtful data analysis and storytelling for client campaigns, ensuring our marketing efforts and performance are reviewed for continuous improvement. This person is a cross-team player, bringing partners together across the organization to drive transparency, collaboration, campaign evolution, and strong client-facing reporting each month.

A large part of this role will be storytelling with data, so it will be important for this person to have strong visual communication and presentation skills. We are looking for someone who wants to help evolve our current approach – including research and onboarding new data systems.  

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Interpret data across multiple marketing platforms, analyze performance results, develop insights, and use that information to create compelling stories in client-facing reports. Storytelling with data is an important part of our reporting process and will be a core function of this role.  

  • Initiate analyses and deliver insights that lead directly to process and campaign improvement. 

  • Build and maintain the data analytics infrastructure for accurate and timely reporting. and sophisticated analysis of client campaigns. This includes vetting and presenting new data and visualization platforms.  

  • Collaborate and support the team of Integrated Marketing Managers with monthly client reports and quarterly deep dives for clients.  

  • Evolve our internal reporting and data analysis capabilities. 

  • Create internal campaign benchmarks based on research and historical data.  

  • Troubleshoot data issues.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in a data analytics role, including experience directly with digital marketing campaigns or platforms.  

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field 

  • Hands-on experience with modern data analytics stack/visualization platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Looker, Tableau) is strongly preferred.  

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others. 

  • Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI.  

  • Foundational understanding of digital marketing.  

  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.   

  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and be comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

  • Great organizational skills with attention to detail. 

  • Outstanding data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication.
